We are living in an exciting era of church planting with new possibilities of bringing the life-changing good news of Jesus' love to our communities. Planting a location is a new way to do church that has proven to be incredibly fruitful. The beauty of launching a location is that a local community can leverage the ministry effectiveness of an established church to reach their city. People today desire high level teaching, excellent worship and a robust community life yet often find all three inaccessible.

In rural communities typically community life is strong, but it is nearly impossible for a bi-vocational pastor to have the time to put together a solid teaching week after week. Equally challenging is to provide a worship experience that people can’t wait for all week. This is where rural communities can have the best of both worlds. A location pastor has time to build strong community bonds within the church and his city and the church body is able to engage in incredible worship and watch a life-changing sermon every week.

Within the location space there are three main modes of service liturgy. The first option is a location that has live worship and watches the sermon from the broadcast church. The second option is to watch the worship from the broadcast church and then listen to live teaching. The final option is to listen to both worship and the sermon from the broadcast church. In all three options a location pastor oversees the service and provides vision, prayer, and latest news for the church.

Locations are full of an abundance of church life. They include life groups, missions endeavors, community outreach, counseling, one on one mentoring and so much more. A location offers everything that a typical church offers and yet is blessed to be resourced spiritually and relationally by an established city impacting church.

Faith Chapel Location Plant History

Up to this point, surprisingly, Faith Chapel has not been the main initiator of launching new plants. Individuals and groups of people who live in various cities throughout Montana have reached out to Faith Chapel Billings and asked if they could use Faith Chapel service content to start a location in their hometown. Pastor Nate and the leadership team began built relationships with them and in time a location would be started. This is how Faith Chapel Sidney started in 2017. Now there are numerous groups throughout Montana who meet regularly to engage with Faith Chapel’s service.
