Tuesdays on the Town
Last summer we launched a new adventure called Tuesdays on the Town. Every Tuesday through the summer we found a partner in the Billings community to come alongside and serve. In total, we saw just under 700 people attend totaling in over 2100 volunteer hours! It was a great time as we were all blessed to get to serve our Billing community. Look for us again in 2013!

We partner with the Montana Rescue Mission here in Billings to help provide weekly sandwiches and cookies for over 400 people in the Billings area. The sandwich crew meets Tuesday evenings at 6:00PM here at the church. The cookie crew meets Thursday evenings at 6:00PM.
On the 4th Saturday of every month, Billings & Beyond volunteers provides a free oil change and service to members of our congregation. To be a recipient of B&B auto-care, pick-up an application at the Welcome Center in the Atrium.
We partner with the Billings Food Bank every month to help them distribute food to thousands of people in the Billings area. Join us on the 1st Saturday of every Month as we head to Food Bank to sort, prepare food boxes, general clean-up and many other things.
Bright and Beautiful is a a partnership we started in 2012, as we hope to help keep our Billings community beautiful. Faith Chapel has adopted a four-mile stretch along the Shiloh Road that we are committed to keep clean from trash and weeds throughout the year. The next major clean day will be June 26.
Relay for Life is one of the biggest cancer fighting events in the world. Faith Chapel is in its second year of partnership with Relay for Life, as we join hands with the organization to raise awareness and funds to help research and combat cancer.
On the afternoon of July 25th this last year, Billings & Beyond teamed up with our High School Ministry 6:60 and threw a block party at South Park in Billings. In all we saw over 600 people attend as we had live music, inflateables, face-painting, free swimming and many other fun activities for the kids. It was an amazing outreach that we hope to build on in 2013.
We are proud partners with our Foursquare brothers and sisters in the Crow Agency. We serve along side Spirit of Life Foursquare Church with an annual church lunch, as well as miscellaneous projects that come up throughout the year. (i.e. Construction Projects, Flood Relief, Oil Changes)
Our High School team headed to Denver in mid-October to serve along side churches in inner-city Denver. The students experienced what it was like to work with the homeless in a large city and even went through training to experience what it was like to actually be homeless themselves. God moved and we are so excited to see what happens with future trips!
At Faith, we are passionate to see our church be a church that serves. One of the big things we ask all our small groups to do is find ways that they can serve together. To get ideas for serve projects, check out this link.
Serve Weekend is a new outreach for us here at Faith. The big idea is we are hoping to compel every person in the Faith family to go out and serve in the community of Billings. It will take place the weekend of September 6-8, 2013. Keep your eyes and ears open for serve opportunities in your area!
