Our Men's Ministry meets in the Chapel on Wednesday mornings during the school year.
Real Men offers a short teaching and breakout groups for discussion after. It's a great opportunity to connect with other guys on issues related to men - leadership, marriage, parenthood, work, and personal integrity. The doors are open at 6am and the teaching begins at 6:15am. The teaching lasts for 20 minutes and the bulk of the time is spent in small groups, unpacking the topic and discussing the points for application.
The small group time ends promptly at 7:30am, but you are free to leave early as your schedule dictates. Come early and grab a cup of coffee before we start! If you have to miss occasionally or you can only come a few times you are welcome to attend when you can. Each weekly lesson stands on its own.
We will begin a new series Wednesday, April 2 studying the character of Nehemiah. We will be using a book from the "Men of Character" series written by Gene Getz. The title of the book is "Nehemiah: Becoming a Disciplined Leader." Men, in this study you will find practical insight on topics such as the process of prayer, leadership, overcoming discouragement, and conflict resolution among others. We will conclude the series on May 21 and then break for the summer.
