why groups?
We believe that sustained biblical growth only happens when we are in relationship with Jesus and a community of people around us encouraging us along. faithGROUPS provide a platform where authentic community can happen and relationships can be established. They provide people with the opportunity to find community, to connect with Jesus, and to care for one another.

At Faith, we believe that our Christian journey goes beyond just attending a weekend service. Our heart is to see people that come on the weekend take what they experience and apply it to their everyday lives. Whether at home, with family or friends, or in the office or at class, we want to be a body of people that live out the words and teachings of Jesus. faithGROUPS are one of the best ways we see this application take place in our lives!

Choosing Groups
Leaders are given the choice for what they want their group to look like. They may choose a group of existing friends with whom they would like to be more intentional or they can choose a group of completely new faces. It is the choice of the leaders and members of how they want to compose their groups.

Adding to Groups
Groups determine whether or not they want to add members to their group after each Group Link. A general rule of thumb that we encourage is for groups to stay consistent after two meetings. Closing the groups allows for those in the groups to really focus on growing together. If a group wishes to add a person/couple to a group after 2 weeks, we ask that the group leader(s) discuss the request with their faithGROUP and collectively decide upon a decision.

Existing Groups
If a group already exists, no problem! We love to see groups that are having success and hope that we have the opportunity to connect with them. In no way do we want to come into that group and tell them what to do, whereas our heart is to come along side that group and resource and pray for them. We hope that by partnering together we can help provide fresh ideas and resources.
We do want to be clear, however, that the model we have discussed above is the model we are moving forward with as faithGROUP. We think that we have a very healthy structure that will fit the needs of the busy lives we all have.

Styles of Groups
We have several major areas where faithGROUPS exist-Kids Ministry/Student Ministries/Real Men/Women’s Bible Study/Singles/Adults & Married/Pillars. Each area has a unique structure best suited for the age and stage of life that will allow for small group relationships to be created.
